As executor of my parent's estate, I chose John to assist with the selling of their house. From the beginning, John treated my parent's house with respect (like it was his own parent's house). At each step of the process, John exhibited his commitment to excellence. His knowledge of the market is excellent. The guidance and advice he offered was always insightful and practical. Being a remote seller, John understood the additional responsibilities he would need to assume. He was always willing to help in all facets: finding a contractor to replace a door; scheduling a cleaning company prior to listing; mopping hardwood floors to remove shoe prints between showings; checking on the house between showings to ensure lights were turned off, doors locked, and thermostats set correctly. John's efforts and guidance resulted in a quick offer and smooth closing. It was a privilege working with John. He is a true professional and genuinely nice guy. Not only did he help me buy my home in 2009, but he guided me and honestly kept me from making a mistake in buying a home I would have regretted buying. I referred many friends, and John was able to get them to their goals as well. When it came time for me to move, and sell, John was right there giving me good honest advice! We held our breath simultaneously till we were sure closing day would finally get there! He did the leg work and got it done! I can't recommend anyone as highly as I can John. My only regret is that I moved to Michigan and can't take him with me!

John was recommended to us through a relative who had used him for the purchase of a new home. From the opening conversations through closing John was on top of every detail and extremely accommodating in dealing with additional paperwork and input for/from multiple signers. He worked closely with us to set a price we were all comfortable with, provided input and guidance in preparing us and the home for sale, and certainly went the extra mile for staging. It was a quick sale and closing period with a lot of moving pieces. Throughout the entire process a few key attributes stood out to us, John understands the value of communication, John understood our situation and supported it whole heartedly, and we most valued his integrity, to hold everyone in the process, including us, accountable to execute their respective portion of the process ensuring a successful outcome for everyone.

She was introduced to John as my sister used him to sell a house 6 years ago and had a positive interaction and result with him. As my Mother is in her 60’s and by herself, I worked closely with John on both sales. In a nutshell, John treated my Mother as he would want an agent to treat his own mother. My Mom’s first house was my childhood home that built over 30 years ago. There was a ton of work needed to get the house ready to sell. John worked with us to stage the home and get it ready to be viewed by potential home buyers that wanted an up to date home. The day before the house went on the market, John was scrubbing the diving board to the in-ground pool. The pictures taken by John's photographer were so good, I didn’t even recognize the house. A week later, with over 20 showings, we had a full offer on the house. Thirty days later, the house was sold with very little bumps along the way. Any issues were transparently handled. Four years later, my Mom decided to move again. My Mom had some differences of opinion with her neighbor. She called John, and he rode in like a knight in shining armor. He kept the sale inconspicuous to not alert her neighbor that the house was on the market – even though it would be advertisement for him. He worked with us to get the house in shape for resale. This was a new house, so this process was easier. Within 10 days, we had 5 showings and an almost asking price offer. As in the first sale, John went above and beyond including offering to tighten the bolts on her toilet (the only thing requested in the inspection) and to help move a piano that was too heavy for my Husband and I to move. My Mom contacted a moving company to move the piano. During the move, the piano scratched the wood floors in the kitchen. John handled the process of working with the Moving Company for reimbursement professionally while continuing to maintain contact with all parties involved. I thoroughly enjoy working with John. I would recommend him to anyone in the Central Pennsylvania area and wish that I could a find a estate agent like him in my area.

He is very knowledgeable in his field, and we have used John I believe three times so far and have never been disappointed. We will continue to use him as our real estate agent and would in the future recommend him to our family and friends and anyone looking to buy or sell to inquire about John. He was and is excellent!

He was very attentive and responsive to all of our needs and many questions and concerns. He managed our home sale for us while we moved out of state. He went above and beyond in getting the sale closed during some tough times due to the COVID 19 epidemic including scheduling some unexpected services in the home and even holding the closing in separate vehicles so as to not delay the closing. He made sure to always open and close our home for every showing and he even vacuumed and mopped the floors each time and ensured the home was secured each time!

He was incredibly patient and offered the right advice and right amount of advice at the proper times. Coming from out of state, finding a home was a challenge, but John made it much easier with his knowledge of the different areas we were looking in and his knowledge of the real estate market in general. He really looked out for us in our house hunt and negotiation for our home that we purchased. We're super happy with our experience overall and would highly recommend him to anyone.

He demonstrated success in both strong and difficult real estate markets, in economic boom times and in recessions. Our situation is yet another one of John's success stories. We were the seller of a property in a development in South Central Pennsylvania. It was time to sell my mother's house as she was moving in to live with us in Maine. John thoughtfully listened to our concerns and understood our objectives for the sale. He looked at our situation and developed a listing and pricing strategy for us. He was able to flawless execute the sale with us being in Maine during the entire process. Key to his success in this situation was his near constant communication with us. John was reachable at all hours of the day and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the process. John also adeptly handles unexpected challenges. The buyer, being excited about moving into the property, inquired if the closing could be moved up two weeks. Rather than deny the request, John immediately accelerated all of the administrative and legal aspects of the sale to make it happen according to the buyer's accelerated schedule. Not only did the sale close faster than expected, John was able to negotiate the highest selling price ever seen in that development. In summary, John exceeded all expectations imaginable. He provided wise counsel to us, treated us respectfully, and was a great partner. I have no doubt that you too will experience great success working with John as a seller or buyer. John is the best of the best and I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone. As first time home buyers, my fiancée and I were a bit unsure of the home buying process, and didn’t really know what to expect. Luckily John made us feel comfortable with our purchase. Prior to John, we had a bad experience with a realtor that made us wary of the whole process. We were fortunate enough to meet him afterwards and he exceeded all expectations. Due to our first home worries, it took us a bit longer than others to find a home that was perfect for us. John not only made us feel at ease, but he also never made us feel that we were never bothering him, and each home we saw was not an inconvenience in his eyes. He was prompt to each meeting, always available throughout the day/night, and made us feel that we were his top priority. My fiancée and I have come to see him not only as a great realtor, but a friend, and we are more than happy with our experience and our home. How fortunate for me. Hands down, John is the best realtor I have had the pleasure to partner with. This was an estate sale with many hiccups. He was one of the only ones that believed our home could sell for what it did! The other realtors suggested listing MUCH lower (roughly 40k) but John did his research to be sure we got what our house was worth. After having a bad experience with a previous realtor, we were unsure of whether we wanted to move forward with putting our house on the market, but John quickly removed those fears with being very attentive of our needs. He was always there for us, whether via phone, email or text message. He was patient with us as we worked through the process, and had answers to our questions, most times before we even asked the questions! John was always very professional to us, and to others involved in our transactions, in fact, we received compliments about him from our mortgage broker. When necessary, John fought to ensure we got what we wanted. When the time came to sell and purchase another home, we knew without a doubt that John would be our man this time around again!
